"I miss you... It is you, right?"

It's painful to come home to an empty apartment when there used to be someone waiting for you at the end of the day. It's even more painful to know that that person gone forever. But when unusual gifts start appearing at your doorstep, it may be time to question whether or not they ever truly left.

Investigate these packages and read your journal entries to try and make sense of what's happening in the wake of tragedy.

Made in 48 hours for CPP Halloween Horror Jam 2021: Gift

This was super neat, I loved how dark it got and the pacing was picture perfect, a lot of interactive fiction can outstay its welcome with too much exposition but you had a good rhythm there.

Also: your itch name is amazing :D

It's such a nice short game tho I would love to see more of Riley's obsession and the protagonist's codependence towards Riley but seeing as it was made in 48 hours I think that's amazing! It does inspire one to write a ghost character obsessing so much... Lovely poetry btw! I'm awful at making those but I genuinely enjoyed reading those short somewhat disturbing snippets!

Thank you for giving our game a play and your kind words! I agree, those topics would really be interesting to explore through game given more time - definitely sometime in the future!
